The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord (武天) Bo Tien. The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affliliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven.

Affinity (缘分 yuan fen) is a factor in life

Learning Point No 132

It is often said that we must bear with certain ill fated events that are not explainable as due to what are attributable to present life. Many ask, "Why me?" Some said it is due to bad karma or what happened in past lives.

Is this pure speculation or some excuse to explain away the lack of fair playing field? Why the good seem to suffer and the bad seem to have the better of life?

To shut us up, just so many could just go on with life, the ancients say, "The secrets of Heaven cannot be revealed"

But one saint at least begs to differ. He is Ji Gong the Living Buddha. He would reveal to the select individual the past to explain why a he had the problem coming to him and why he has to face it.

By so doing that is revealing the secrets of Heaven, it would be easier to understand and to handle the present life issue that is rooted in the past life. No unnecessary lament on unfairness and the question, "Why me and why not him or they?"

Of course, it doesn't always work that way and best that the secrets of Heaven be not revealed.

One risk of revealing the root event in past life that gives rise to the present event or problem in this life is that the individual may not believe the fact as the truth.

Also, more often than not, the pain of knowing the mistake or failure in past life can be duanting, shocking and difficult to reconcile and accept. Knowing can often at times bring on catastrophic emotions and be devastating. It is better off not to know then.

But is ignorance bliss? It is not. So what should be the right approach? What is right and what is wrong? God knows. This is often the standard blanket answer.

One of God's many saints and perhaps even more saints may have affinity with you from past lives and may be able to help.

Ji Gong is one such saint. If he is your saint and if there is affinity, then he will be in your life. A saint cannot reach out to all but only to the finite number whom he has affinity with.

That is why Lord Bo Tien reminds that God has many saints and many sects and religions for us. Surely, everyone will have affinity with one or more of them.

Affinity (缘分 yuan fen)  is a factor in life but this can be cultivated, can't it and don't you agree? Meditate on this and look up to Heaven for insight of sorts.

Cheers. Omitofo!
