The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord (武天) Bo Tien. The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affliliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven.

Cultivate the peace of God and saints

Learning Point No 388

If there is no religion which is unlikely, there is still God and saints. If there is no saints which too is unlikely, there is still God. If there is no God, which is far fetched  there is still the basic truth or the inner truth that is behind religions, saints and God. So what is most important is to know the truth or doctrine. It is referred to as Tao or Way. It is also the logic behind life - The Tou-li.

God and saints are at peace come what may. They are able to be atop the yin and the yang, the hardness and softness of life and nature, the active and passive polarities of life, the constant flux of worldly contingencies like gain-loss, praise-blame, honor-dishonor, happiness-sorrow, health-ill-health. form-formlessness and birth-death.

We can be with God and saints if we can have the peace of God and saints. We need only to be atop and balance the yin and yang. This is the Tao or Tou-li. It is as simple as that but yet not so simple.

Cultivate the Tao and make it a way of life. Have moment to moment mindfulness.

Do not deny life. Do not indulge in life. Live life without denial and indulgence. Make life work for us and do not work for life. Balance the polarities, the yin and yang. This is the Tou-li or Doctrine.

Lord Bo Tien reiterates that those who know the Doctrine know God and saints. Those who do not, know not God and saints even if they are with God and saints.

It may not be worthwhile to know who is God, is God the creator or part creator, is He created and can he create.

Just know the Tou-li, cultivate it and develop the moment to moment peace of God and saints. Then we will be with God and saints even in this life.

We will be near though in a sense still far from God and saints. But it is better than to be near in the very church or temple of God but yet far, not knowing Tou-li and not having taste the peace of God and saints.

Cultivate the peace of God and saints. Then God and saints will be in us and we in God and saints. We can do so through any religion or sect of our choice and preference.

There is no need to deny that God and saints exist. There is also no need to cling to God and saints. Both extremes of denial and clinging are not good. Just know the Tao Doctrine and make it a way of life.

Do let it be alive in our lives, that is, come to life in our individual lives. Then we have God and saints in us, specifically the living peace of God and saints - what some religions refer to as the Holy Spirit and others as the taste of Deliverance (Enlightenment).
