Lord Bo Tien |
The colorful lives of some pioneers and members of a temple or church are consistent with the benevolence and magnanimity of the patron saint. It may be unbecoming of them and unexpected for those who have been exposed to the doctrine. But it is they who need to be helped most and to be guided spiritually. Blame not the saint if they fail to live by the doctrine. Blame not the flower if insects come to it for nectar and not value the fragrance and beauty of the flower. Lord Bo Tien further adds that others should not be upset but could learn from the lessons in life not only of their own but also of their fellow men.
