The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord (武天) Bo Tien. The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affliliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven.

There are those who know a little and want to call the shots

Learning Point No 274

Those in the know would rather stay away from a temple and as what the late Philip Png said they are those who never fear of being misunderstood.

They endure the talk and the chatter of the many in a temple and prefer to leave the temple to those who badly need to know more but yet want to call the tune.

The men in such a crowd that yell the loudest get the say in the way a temple or church sways. Empty vessel makes the most noise.

They know a little and want to do allot. But they are not good enough to be on their own and to call the tune. They are however better than the dense who know nothing but who may at times add to the common noise. We need however to feel sorry for them and try to empathise their disadvantage position

Empty vessels, those who know little but act as though they know the world of divine truth are the main noise makers and the clatter they make drives some up the wall and inevitably drives away those who know and who seek the peace of God and saints. They are far from being at peace and can only ruffle the feathers of those who know better than them.

From ancient times till the present and perhaps even in the future, saints amongst men never come from the crowd of many a church, temple or house of man for God. Prophets were often not from the spiritual mainstream of their times and were invariably non-conformist and adopted positions that made it not possible to be in tune with the existing mainstream of their times.

But they stood firm and stand away from the mainstream crowd and spoke out bravely from outside the mainstream. They succeeded and the evolved religious institutions of today (2012) are testimony to their patience, endurance, success and incessant efforts.

But history repeats itself and those who know more  could not be restful in the crowd of those who know less. They thus have to stay away from the crowd and be spiritual recluse of sorts or face the music of disbelief by those in the mainstream dominated often by those who know somewhat differently from them and not as wise or divinely attuned .

The late Brother Philip Png was guided by Lord Bo Tien to say that "the wise are those who never fear of being misunderstood. Endurance is one's innocent glory in the next world."

There will always be those who know a little or less and want to call the shots. If they cannot be changed for the better, leave them alone and let them learn from life - the gospel of life. God will know how even if men who are supposed to be wiser do not. But above all, don't let them mess your life and ruin any semblance of the divine peace you have or can have.

Do however be mindful of the pride even for those who are more wise. Pride, more so if wrongly directed, will drive the wiser of men to dictate the many less wise than them. This will cause problems all because of their pride of knowing more and wanting to correct bothers who know less.

Thus the late Brother Philip Png was motivated by Lord Bo Tien to advice thus. "Many a pride cover those who achieve the light of enlightenment But the wise are those who never fear of being misunderstood. Endurance is one's innocent glory in the next world."

Give up the pride and leave alone the many in a temple or church who know less to do what they believe. Even God does so and let them learn at their own pace from the gospel of life.

Let the many misunderstand and even condemn you. Continue to do and cultivate the right and have more of the peace. Endure the rumblings and murmurs of the many and rest assured that you are innocent and on the correct path. Glory awaits you in the future, perhaps in the life hereafter if not in this life.

Cheers. Omitofo
