Living Life Series 2: June 2012

The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord (武天) Bo Tien. The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affliliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven.

Give God your heart, and not your money

Learning Point No 104

Give to God what is due to God and to man what is due to man. Money is not what God wants. It is our heart and sincerity that matter.

The church or temple is not a concrete building but the hearts of the people in the congregation.

Tithes are not what we need to give to God. If tithes are that important, think twice. Why only 10% or 30% ? Why not 100%. God facilitates us with life and opportunities.

We must make use of the blessings from God, and not return them to God. To make matters worse, we give only a percentage. Why return to God what He gives us. Make use of them in wholesome way for the good of ourselves and for the good of the many, so that they will be more wholesome and better able to live in God.

Commitment comes from the heart and must be 100%, not 10% and has nothing to do with money. To God and those in heaven, it would be absurd to offer them paper money. Of what use is paper money to them? Only men need money, not God.

Imagine those lost souls in wondering world offering men hell money. What is the use of hell money to humans? What is the use of human currency and notes to God? It is the whole hearted commitment to God that he wants from men, not for the benefit of God but for the benefit of men themselves.

For faith in God, do not give currency to God but your life in service of God. Do back up with your heart. Be wholehearted.

We must love God but do not be blind but be wise and wholesome instead. There is need to be wary that we will not end up worshipping men instead of God in a church or temple. Hero worshipping men opens the floodgate for men to worship the devil and ghosts through men.

Give God your heart and not your money. Money cannot buy you a place in the kingdom of God. Men need your money but not God.

The laws of Man and the laws of God must go hand in hand

Learning Point No 103

God will not forsake men for the not-so right they may have done in the eyes of other men. But lest we forget. Let us give to God what is due to God and to man what is due to man. Obey the laws of God and the laws of Man. Then there will be better yin yang harmony in this world. The laws of Man and the laws of God must go hand in hand.

This too was reminded to us by Lord Bo Tien who reiterated that all must respect the laws of God and the laws of the land

Worship God and not man

Worship God and not man. Worshipping man is bad enough, but some in the name of God, end up worshipping the devil in man. Man can still be a better man but man being man is still man and not God. God will not forsake man even if man may forsake God. Man of God can still do wondrous good and that cannot be denied. God will bless man. Man must give to God what is due to God and to man what is due to man.

NOTEWORTHY INFORMATION

A number of the pointers given by Lord Bo Tien in his messages were somehow edited out in the year 2000 publication LORD BO TIEN'S GUIDANCE as they were deemed inappropriate, either deemed not correct or not unnderstandable because the grasp and understanding years ago were lacking. Thank Heaven that the historical versions were saved by the late Senior Brother Chong Sim in his draft book My Interpretation of LORD BO TIEN MESSAGES. He obtained nine years of the messages from Brother Peter Kong. Brother Peter Kong had done a great meritorious deed in handling the historical translated scripts of the messages to Chong Sim.
